Start on a high note, come to a plateau, and
end on a low note.
By repeating this phrase and doing as it says, you can
practice sounding enthusiastic. Another variation that
works:
Bring it up high, hover in the middle at the
same tone, then bring it on down.
You can then apply the technique to a real phrase you
might say:
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Jane's
graduation party, thanks for coming out. My
name is DJ J-Man, I'll be here all day to take
your song requests.
Practicing simple phrases like this will help develop a
good DJ announcing voice. Just be sure to practice

Your DJ Name
At some point before you get started, you will need to
come up with a DJ name. Some DJs simply use their
real name, but often it pays off to have a memorable
name. The customers may not remember “DJ Sam" or
