If you haven't done this free upgrade, you got to do it.  The stuff about indexing that Justin had promised for Version 8 is now part of version 7.x.  My 92K files indexed in under a minute on the first stage.  If you don't care about ID3 then you're done with the index at point, but if you decide to use the ID3 info then you can let do it in the background while you use VDJ to search...you can even upload your database if you're using the new online songbook at mydjsongbook.com after the initial index.  You don't need to wait for the ID3 index to complete (if you happen to be indexing for it). See my screenshot of the new index features.

Also, there is a new cool feature "Follow Screen Lyrics" on your phone.  Basically the same thing that people are seeing on the screen is now on your phone.  See screeshots as well.
