that you have plenty of business cards handy, a tip jar
– anything that could potentially be forgotten.
If you are doing an outdoor gig, do you have
sunscreen and bug spray. Perhaps a hat and/or
sunglasses. These things should all be part of your
checklist as well.
There is nothing worse than showing up to a gig,
starting to set up your equipment, only to find that you
forgot a cable or power adapter at home. The checklist
will prove to be an invaluable tool to ensure your gigs
go off without a hitch. A sample checklist is included
at the back of this book (See Appendix A); you can
make copies, or use it as a guide to design and print
your own personal checklist.
