look professional.
I used to wear a fedora-style hat and sunglasses – kind
of a
Blues Brothers
look. I later dropped that, and I
just wear a nice pair of slacks and a button-down shirt.
It looks more professional that way.
Of course at a wedding, you will be expected to be in
a suit and tie, whereas at a bar you can get away with
jeans and a rock 'n' roll T-shirt. Even shorts are
acceptable at an outdoor party on a hot day. Use your
judgement and dress appropriately for the event.
